This is what the bank of 3 windows looks like after I took the sashes and weights out. The storm windows and a piece of cardboard and plastic allowed me to work on the sashes in the basement during the winter. The pic shows the heat gun I used to remove all the paint. One reminder, always have a fire extinguisher in the room when using a heat gun. I use it to remove paint on mounted surfaces and use chemicals on the removed pieces ether outside or in the basement.
Ok, so tomorrow, I'll start writing about the sashes I did last winter.
